1、 Overview

This equipment is a gas purification device developed by our company by absorbing advanced technology from foreign washing tower equipment and combining it with decades of manufacturing experience. It is a new type of treatment equipment specialized in treating chlorine gas generated in the zinc chloride industry. The treatment method is to use a purification tower and supporting equipment for wet spraying, and the emissions meet the standard of "Comprehensive Emission Standard of Air Pollutants GB16297-1996".

2、 Process principle

Because chlorine gas reacts with OH - in NaOH, and solid sodium hydroxide does not have free OH - present, chlorine gas needs to be introduced into the sodium hydroxide solution.

2OH-+Cl2=Cl-+ClO-+H2O

It can also be understood as

Cl2 + H2O = Hcl +Hclo

Hcl+NaOH = NaCl +H2O

Hclo +NaOH = NaClO +H2O

*Final simultaneous equations

Cl2+2NaOH=NaCl+NaClO (sodium hypochlorite)+H2O

3、 Process flow

Chlorine gas - bubbling in the inlet section - * * filter layer (* * stage packing absorption section) - * * spray system - second filter layer (second stage packing absorption section) - second spray device - cyclone water collector - centrifugal fan - outlet cap cover - exhaust pipe - exhaust.

According to different conditions, different equipment combinations can be designed, and PLC control and automatic control instruments can be used according to user requirements to monitor the working status throughout the process, issue alarms for exceeding standards, and achieve automated management.

4、 Selection instructions

This system needs to be designed based on the gas composition, flow rate, concentration, temperature and other indicators provided by the user. If the user is not familiar with the above indicators, they can describe the workflow before exhaust emissions clearly, and our company's designers will make the selection.
